Today I visited Lake Powell for the first time. Abbey pretty much sums up all of my feelings about Glen Canyon and that damn dam!
Last week, some friends and I did a first descent of a side canyon in Desolation Canyon. We were in the most desolate location in the lower 48, and 100 miles from the closest paved road. It is good to know that there are still places in America that no white man has ever seen.
